Advance Diploma in Financial Accounting

Objective:  The objective of the Computerized Accounting program is to give the student "hands on" training in the key areas of financial and management accounting, as well as in the implementation and operation of a computerized accounting system. The practical, rather than the theoretical, is stressed. The successful graduate will have the necessary skills to keep a set of books, both manually and on a computerized system.

Fundamental of Computers, DOS, Windows, Accounting Concepts & Conventions, Double Entry System of Book Keeping, Rules to Journalize the transaction(Practical on Tally 5.4/7.2 & Manually), Rectification of Errors(Practical on Tally 4.5/5.4/6.3 & manually)Basic of Tally 5.4/7.2 – (a) Creation of Company, (b) creation of Groups & Ledger (c) Inventory Accounting, (d) Short cut keys, (f) Bank Reconciliation on Tally 5.4 manually, MS Office(MS Word, MS Excel)


Semester II:

Adjustment entries, Introduction to trial balance, Ledger, Journal, Cash Book, Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss A/c, Final A/c, Mgf A/c, Trading A/c, Income/Expd. A/c, Consignment Accounting, Internet & Basic of E-Commerce, Inventory Maint.& other Advanced usages of Tally4.5/5.4/6.3/7.2/8.1/9(optional), Basic of Taxation (C.T., I.T., E.T., P.T.), Project.
